Livio Bisterzo, a highly experienced manager in the food industry, started his company Green Park Holdings after seven years working in the food industry. With Livio’s guidance, Green Park Holdings has grown to manufacture food brands that meet high nutritional and health standards.

In June, Green Park Holdings launched its first brand Hippeas (, a chickpea puff snack. Speaking after launching the snack, Livio Bisterzo said that the brand could grow to become a top meal that is preferred by customers worldwide.

Mr. Livio also revealed that Hippeas was manufactured to match broad needs that the clients often look for when purchasing snacks. Hippeas maintains high-quality dietary standards that make it a healthy snack. Some of its nutritional qualities are;

  • It is prepared using non-GMO ingredients.
  • It is low in calories. Hippeas’ 22-gram bag has 91 calories while the large 110-gram bag has 455 calories.
  • It is gluten free
  • A single serving has 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of proteins.

Due to Hippeas’ characteristics, Livio Bisterzo said that most customers had shown a great contentment with the product. Hippeas is sold by leading food retailers like Boots, Holland & Barret, and Starbucks. Green Park Holdings was aiming to supply its products to more retailers with its target being industry leaders, Amazon.

Hippeas is available in six flavors. The flavors are derived from natural ingredients like pepper, sea salt, onion, garlic, rosemary, and other natural herbs. Some of the typical flavors are Pepper Power, Sweet & Smokin, and Far Out Fajita.

Livio Bisterzo said that in their initial development stages to make the chickpea puff; they had used chickpeas as the primary ingredient. Their main driving force was to come up with a snack that meets the needs of both the present and future generation. Finally, they came up with Hippeas, a brand that has been tipped to be accepted widely in the global snack market.

Livio Bisterzo confirmed that Green Park Holdings was working in close collaboration with Farm Africa to bring a change in the lives of people in Africa. For instance, Green Park’s donations will be used to support chickpea farming projects. The funds will be raised from every pack of Hippeas that is sold.
